#CrashThePepsiIPL Phase 3 – (Part1)

“Thirst of the Nation” uploaded by Abhishek Kumar

I give my first vote for this advertisement and I believe this ad deserves to win the contest as it has the full potential of being a winner. The advertisement does not have humans or models nor does it have any extra ordinary features such as glamour like most of the drink advertisements have which are shown on Television. The advertisement shows how different teams of the IPL can become the map of India very outstandingly and in a meaningful manner. The advertisement starts with the theme song “Jiyo Maro Jiyo Mora Pepsi Pi, goes on then to display logos of all the IPL teams. The Pepsi bottle is then shown rolling the logos of the teams and together they make the map of India thus a union of the drink Pepsi and game of IPL. In this advertisement, it is shown how the IPL teams represent our country in an easy and effectual method and they say, “The entire nation is thriving for Pepsi.”. The song, the logos and the use of Pepsi is realistic and this advertisement stands out among the rest of the advertisements I have seen. There is no over acting. The making of this advertisement must have not taken more than 5-10 minutes.

“The perfect partnership” uploaded by Saachi Agarwal

My second vote goes for the advertisement “The perfect partnership”. My reason is that the advertisement has a potential as it had a good meaning to the concept. In the advertisement it is shown how a child is born with a birth mark and people tease him, he then decides to go to the stadium to watch an IPL match and finds his soul mate during the match who has the same mark and they form the Pepsi logo. I liked this advertisement very much as it has shown how love can be found anytime and anywhere, definitely different from the other advertisements.  Here Pepsi symbolizes their expression of love and the drink is the witness to their love and affection and IPL game is a means through which they met. I liked the way it showed us a relationship between Pepsi and IPL. It is a really innovative advertisement and the birth marks and IPL match show connects between two souls very well. The twins stole the show with rocking music, cool shots, and tricky juggles and of course Pepsi.

“I’m voting for the best ads in the#CrashThePepsiIPL activity in association with BlogAdda from 8th May to 14th May. Are you?”
